THE EMPIRETHE EMPIRE
The Empire of Man is the largest in the Old World and has been so for many long years, but their strength is constantly threatened from both within and without. With Chaos gnawing at the very society of the Empire and the greenskins assaulting its borders, it takes a strong Emperor to prevail in these dark times.
ORCS AND GOBLINSORCS AND GOBLINS
Orcs and Goblins are the green tide that continually batter at the gates of the Old World. No-one can predict the coming of the Waaagh. Indeed, it is frequently without reason that the greenskins attack, for they care not who they fight, nor how many they fight; only that they fight.

High Elves are proud, haughty, arrogant and are amongst the most civilised and gracious of races - but in war they are terrible, implacable foes, capable of extreme feats of arms thanks to their incredible martial skills. Dwarfs and their mountain holds are bastions of light against the darkness in the Old World. Stubborn, pitiless enemies but staunch allies, the Dwarfs have aided the kingdoms of Man for thousands of years, but their number grows few and their strength waning.

Daemons of Chaos are the enemy against which there can be no final victory. They cannot be defeated. They cannot be stopped. One day soon the borders of reality will come crashing down, and on that day, the Daemons of Chaos shall rule all.

Dark Elves are known to be utterly, irrevocably evil and can claim to be the vilest of all races. Delighting in pain and torture, intrigue and treachery, they bring all their guile and wickedness to the battlefield, and it is only the strongest that can turn a host of the Druchii from its chosen path.

OGRE KINGDOMSOGRE KINGDOMS
Far to the east of the Old World lie the savage Ogre Kingdoms. Amongst the frozen and desolate mountains of this realm live the Ogres; ugly, violent monsters who kill and eat anything they can catch. A single Ogre has enough brute strength to destroy a farmstead or village, whereas the armies that march west from the Ogre homelands are powerful enough to destroy empires.
